1. Our role
Babesbio is an informational directory. Profile text and images are used for identification and discovery. We do not claim ownership of third-party copyrighted works. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, please notify us.
2. How to file a DMCA notice
Send a written notice to [email protected] that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- The exact URL(s) on Babesbio where the material appears
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf
3. What we do
Upon receiving a complete notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and, where appropriate, notify the relevant user or source. Repeat infringers may lose access to submit or appear in certain features.
4. Counter-notification
If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same address including your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts, and your signature.
5. Misrepresentation
Knowingly submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
